In addition to learning techniques highly in demand in industry and at graduate schools, there is a stipend of $4500 for the 9.5 week session + free housing. We will provide housing in an off campus facility, with single rooms and a shared kitchen and recreation facilities for all students. Travel assistance is available for students who will be traveling to Pullman. The tuition for MSE 471 will be covered for REU participants. You will also have an opportunity to attend a national conference related to your project.
