Applying to the WSU REU

In addition to completing the on-line application you need to complete the following:

Write and send (E-mail or mail) a 1 page (maximum) statement of interest about why you are interested in materials research.

E-mail or mail a copy of your academic transcripts.

Have someone (a professor, for instance) write a letter of recommendation and send it to the program by E-mail or mail.

You should send your information electronically to Dr. Field (dfield@wsu.edu) or mail hard copies to:

We will start considering application materials on January 1, so applying early is encouraged. Application deadline will be March 1, 2013.

Please be aware that due to federal guidelines for this program, you must currently be a US citizen or permanent resident to participate in this program. You must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate and you will not have received your Bachelor's degree prior to July 2013.
